  • How do I collect my vehicle
    To obtain your vehicle, you can visit us at our location or if you wish to have the vehicle delivered to you, we offer a delivery service which will be calculated at £1.39 per mile, from our warehouse.
  • Do I need to refuel the car?
    We require all main drivers to return the car with a full tank. If this requirement is not met, missing fuel will be charged at the local rate. If you wish to return the car empty or close to, you can pre pay for fuel, which will also be based off the local fuel charge.
  • How many people can drive the vehicle?
    Maximum drivers per vehicle is 2 which includes the main driver under the rental agreement. Extra driver is at an additional charge of £15 per day of the rental period.
  • Is insurance included?
    Yes, basic cover is included, this will allow us as company to offer our services to you as the hirer. (Any damages, scratches/dents etc. will be subject to additional repair fees). However, to waiver damage fess, we offer Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third Party Liability, Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) and Glass&Tyres cover. For even more flexibility we also offer these insurances stated above, as packages in order for you to customise your rental around your specific needs.
  • Is Mileage Included?
    All vehicles come with 100 miles included within the hire period. Pre-booked mileage is £3 per mile and unallocated miles is £5 per mile.
  • How much Is the deposit?
    Deposits are subject to the vehicle chosen for the hire period.
  • Can I drive abroad?
    Driving outside of the UK is not permitted and will not be covered by company insurance. If the hirer is deemed to be driving abroad, the rental agreement will be forfeited and recovery of the vehicle will be imminent. Additional fees will be set to cover for time, travel and fuel of the vehicle recovery process.
  • Can I use the car for track/experience days?
    No, any attempt to use the vehicle for track/experience days will result in the rental agreement forfeiture. All vehicles hired from Fontaine Luxe are fitted with tracking devices to ensure compliance with our terms and conditions.
  • What about Congestion Charge & Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ)?
    All vehicles offered by Fontaine Luxe meet ULEZ standards. Additionally, congestion charge can be added to the rental on the day of collection IF, you are travelling within the congestion charge zone on that day. All other days will need to be paid by the hirer; information will be provided on how to do so. Price is set by TFL at £15 per day you enter. However, by midnight of the 3rd day this charge will become £17.50. Failure to pay the Congestion Charge Fee for entering a Congestion Charge Zone will result in fines from Transport for London (TFL), who operates and controls these zones. We recommend that you check the TFL website for more information prior to your journey.
  • What happens if I incur a parking fine or road traffic offence while renting a car from Fontaine Luxe?
    If you incur a parking fine or road traffic offence while renting a car from Fontaine Luxe, you must pay the fine or offence to the relevant authority immediately. Fontaine Luxe is not responsible for any fines or offences incurred by the renter, and the renter is fully responsible for any fines or offences that are incurred. Fontaine Luxe reserves the right to charge the customer for any parking fines or road traffic offences that are incurred during the rental period. Which will include an additional admin fee of £50.
  • If I happen to lose the keys?
    In the event that vehicle keys are lost or misplaced during the rental period, a key recovery cost will be incurred by the renter, which will be added as an additional charge (fee dependant on vehicle hired) to cover the replacement or retrieval of the keys.
