2018

INTRODUCTION TO THE INDUSTRY

The Apprentice stage

In the Spring of April, I began my journey working as a valet in St. Pancras train station, Kings Cross for one of the biggest car rental companies in the world, Hertz Rental cars.

2 months later I was offered the Customer Service Representative position at the flagship store Edgware Road, Marble Arch.

2019

CONFIRMATION

6 months in, completely comfortable with the influx of customers. Being the flagship store we did not only just provide for our customers, we did so for the 3 other stores within London also. So busy, at times was an understatement.

 

This was a very informative year as my work load was basically tripled once I was fully emersed into the flagship store and its flow of operation.   

 

Here I was able to experience all aspects of the industry, from delivering exceptional customer service front of house to collecting vehicles from dealerships and logging them into the system to become available to rent. The in-betweens included.
